Partner Portal Guide
How to set up your account and download your DebtHelp client list to scrub against your collection accounts.
ASet up your Partner Portal account
One-time setup. Every partner account is reviewed and approved manually by DebtHelp before it can access client data.
-
Go to the Partner Portal sign-in page
Open
https://www.ccdebthelp.com/partners/login.html in your browser. If you don't have an account yet, click “No account yet? Apply for access” below the Sign in button.
-
Complete the registration form
On the “Register Your Agency” page, provide the following:
- Your name and company / agency name
- Work email — this becomes your login and the address every client-list export is sent to, so use a monitored inbox
- Phone (optional)
- Partner type — e.g. Collection agency
- Existing creditor name & main phone on file (if any) — this helps us match you to the right records
- A password — at least 10 characters; use a passphrase, not a single word
-
Read and accept the terms
Scroll to the bottom of the Terms and conditions box — the acceptance checkbox stays locked until you reach the end. Then tick “I have read and agree to the terms and conditions.”
-
Submit your application
Click Submit application. You'll see a confirmation that your application was received. DebtHelp reviews every application manually and emails you once your account is approved.
-
Sign in and sign the Data-Sharing Agreement
After approval, sign in at the login page and open Profile from your dashboard. Review and sign the Data-Sharing Agreement — this is required before any client list can be exported to you. Your account then shows Status: approved and you're ready to pull lists.
Tip: Once you're signed in, your dashboard reads “Welcome, [Your Name]” and shows your role and status (e.g. Role: collection agency · Status: approved). You can Sign out any time from the account card at the top.
BDownload your current client list
Do this whenever you want a fresh export of DebtHelp clients to scrub against your own accounts.
-
Sign in to the Partner Portal
Go to
https://www.ccdebthelp.com/partners/login.html, enter your Email and Password, and click Sign in.
-
Open “Request current client list”
On your dashboard, under “What would you like to do?”, click the Request current client list tile (bottom-left group). It's marked Available now.
-
Choose which list you need
Pick one option:
- Actively saving clients — clients currently active in a DebtHelp program. Best for routine scrubbing.
- Complete client list — every DebtHelp client on record, active or not.
The export includes each client's identifying details (name, date of birth, SSN, state) and a POA flag.
-
Request the file
Click the green Email me the client list button.
-
Confirm it's on its way
You'll see a green confirmation with the record count, e.g. “Your complete client list (6,897 records) is on its way.” The file is delivered by email — you don't download it directly from the page.
COpen the password-protected file
For security, the list arrives as a password-protected Excel file, with the passcode sent separately. You only need Microsoft Excel 2010 or later (Windows or Mac) — no other software or install is required.
-
Check your account email for two messages
One email contains the Excel file (
.xlsx) as an attachment. A separate email contains the passcode to open it.
-
Save the attachment
Save the
.xlsx to a folder you control (for example, your Desktop or a dedicated secure folder).
-
Open it in Excel
Double-click the file. Excel shows a Password box before it opens anything.
-
Enter the passcode
Copy the passcode from the separate email and paste it in, then click OK. Tip: paste rather than retype to avoid errors, and watch for stray spaces. The spreadsheet opens and you can view and scrub the client records.
Important: the file is encrypted with AES-256 and must be opened in Excel 2010 or later or LibreOffice Calc. Previewers that cannot ask for a password — such as the Outlook attachment preview, the Windows preview pane, or the web-based Excel viewer — will show an error instead. If that happens, save the file and open it in desktop Excel.
↓Have an older .zip file?
Client lists sent before October 2026 arrived as an AES-256 encrypted .zip instead. Windows' built-in “Extract All” and the macOS Archive Utility cannot open those — they fail with an error such as “The destination file could not be created” without asking for the passcode. The simplest fix is to request a fresh list (Part B), which arrives as the password-protected Excel file above. If you need to open an older ZIP:
-
Windows 10 / 11 — no install needed
Save the
.zip to your Downloads folder. Open the Start menu, type cmd, and press Enter. Type cd %USERPROFILE%\Downloads and press Enter, then type tar -xf "file name.zip" and press Enter. When asked for the passphrase, paste the passcode and press Enter. The Excel file appears in Downloads.
-
Or use a free unzip tool
If you are able to install software, 7-Zip (Windows) or Keka (Mac) open AES-256 ZIPs: right-click the file, open it with the tool, and enter the passcode when prompted. Always download from the official site.
Handle with care: this file contains confidential consumer data governed by the Data-Sharing Agreement you signed. Store it securely, don't forward it outside your authorized team, and delete it when you're done scrubbing.
